Detachable trauma IFAK pouch designed for protective vests and other platforms with large hook-and-loop mounting surfaces.
The Zentauron Trauma IFAK is a compact trauma-care pouch developed in cooperation with personnel from police and military units and with input from TREMA, the German professional association for tactical casualty care.
This version uses a hook-and-loop attachment system instead of fixed MOLLE mounting, making it particularly suitable for protective vests and security equipment with large loop surfaces.
The pouch can also be combined with the separately available Zentauron Trauma IFAK Faststick Adapter Plate, allowing the medical pouch to be removed from the carrier and brought directly to the casualty when required.
Made in Germany.
Designed for Tactical Trauma Care
The internal layout is designed around commonly used trauma-care equipment and TCCC-oriented packing concepts.
Suitable contents can include:
- Tourniquet
- Nasopharyngeal airway
- Decompression needle
- Chest seal
- Emergency pressure dressing
- Emergency blanket
- Disposable gloves
- CPR face shield
- Trauma shears
- Gauze and bandages
- Other compact first-aid equipment
The pouch itself is an organizational platform and does not determine the medical capability of the finished kit.
Fast, Glove-Friendly Access
Large zipper pulls make the main compartment easy to open even while wearing gloves.
The design is also intended to support one-handed access when necessary.
The wide-opening construction provides clear visibility of the contents and allows the pouch to be packed in a consistent, repeatable layout.
Internal Organization
The interior provides:
- 2 mesh pockets
- 2 large elastic loops
- 8 small elastic loops
This allows different types of medical supplies to be separated and retained securely instead of moving loose inside the pouch.
External Tourniquet Compartment
A dedicated external tourniquet pocket is secured with hook-and-loop closure.
This keeps a tourniquet immediately accessible without first opening the main compartment.
A front hook-and-loop identification area measuring approximately:
2 × 2 in / 5 × 5 cm
can be used for:
- Medical patches
- IFAK markings
- Unit identification
- Name or team patches
- Other hook-backed identifiers
Hook-and-Loop Mounting
This version is specifically designed for carriers and protective vests with large hook-and-loop surfaces.
It is particularly suited for:
- Police protective vests
- Security vests
- Tactical carriers with large loop fields
- Other compatible hook-and-loop platforms
Compared with a conventional MOLLE-mounted pouch, this system allows quicker removal from compatible equipment.
Optional Faststick Adapter Plate
With the separately available Zentauron Trauma IFAK Faststick Adapter Plate, the pouch can be integrated into MOLLE/PALS equipment while remaining detachable.
This allows the medical pouch to be:
- Mounted securely to the carrier
- Removed quickly when needed
- Brought directly to the point of treatment
- Reattached after use

Mission Frontline Take
This version is particularly useful when you want an IFAK that can be removed from the carrier instead of forcing treatment to happen directly at the mounting location.
That can be a real advantage in vehicles, confined spaces, or whenever the medical pouch needs to be handed to another person.
The internal layout is the same strong concept as the Faststick version, with separate mesh pockets, elastic retention, and an external tourniquet compartment.
The difference is really the mounting philosophy:
Faststick version → fixed MOLLE/PALS integration
Hook-and-loop version → faster removal from compatible carriers
For police, security, and other users whose protective vests already provide large hook-and-loop surfaces, this is arguably the more flexible configuration.
