Modular Battle Belt

Ergonomically shaped modular battle belt with removable padded inserts, extensive MOLLE/PALS space, subload access, and optional integration with VPAM 3+ soft armor.

The Zentauron Modular Battle Belt is designed as a load-bearing platform for tactical equipment while distributing weight across the hips rather than concentrating it entirely on a plate carrier.

It is available in several tactical colorways, including German 5-Color Flecktarn, making it suitable for users building a Flecktarn-based first-line setup.

The belt is supplied with non-ballistic padded inserts for comfort. These inserts can be removed and replaced with compatible VPAM 3+ soft ballistic inserts designed for the system.

A dedicated interface also allows the belt to work together with the Zentauron Vulcan III Plate Carrier, transferring part of the carrier load toward the hips.

Non-Ballistic Padding Included

The Battle Belt is supplied with removable non-ballistic inserts.

These provide:

The standard inserts are strictly for comfort and do not provide ballistic protection.

Optional VPAM 3+ Soft Armor

The padded inserts can be replaced with compatible VPAM 3+ soft ballistic inserts designed for the belt.

This allows the system to combine load carriage with additional soft-armor coverage around the waist area.

Ballistic inserts are sold separately unless specifically stated.

The actual protection level depends entirely on the certified ballistic insert installed in the belt.

Extensive MOLLE / PALS

Each side of the Battle Belt provides:

6 columns × 3 rows of MOLLE/PALS

This creates substantial mounting space for equipment such as:

Center MOLLE Area

The rear / center flap provides additional modular attachment space.

This allows the available equipment area to scale with the physical size of the belt.

Subload & Drop-Leg Access

Openings are integrated into the side sections for routing compatible equipment.

These can be used for:

• Drop-leg holsters
• Subloads
• Thigh platforms
• Other belt-mounted equipment

This prevents the padded MOLLE sleeve from blocking access to the inner belt where direct mounting is required.

Inner Belt Required

The Modular Battle Belt is designed as an outer load-bearing sleeve and must be used with a compatible inner belt or duty belt.

The inner belt passes through the integrated internal channel and provides the structural belt connection around the waist.

Inner belt is sold separately.

Vulcan III Load-Transfer Interface

A hook-and-loop compartment in the center of the Battle Belt is designed to interface with the Zentauron Vulcan III Plate Carrier.

When configured together, the system can transfer part of the plate carrier load toward the hips.

This can reduce the amount of weight carried solely through the shoulders and back.

Full-Length Load Distribution Channel

Underneath the carrier interface is an internal channel through which the inner belt or compatible duty belt is routed.

The channel helps distribute loads across a larger portion of the belt rather than concentrating stress at individual attachment points.

Standalone or Integrated Use

The Battle Belt can be configured in two primary ways:

Standalone Battle Belt

Used independently with a compatible inner belt as a modular first-line equipment platform.

Vulcan III Integrated Setup

Connected with the Vulcan III Plate Carrier to support load transfer from the upper body toward the hips.

This makes the system particularly useful for heavier carrier configurations.

Ergonomic Shape

The belt is anatomically shaped to follow the hip area rather than using a simple straight padded sleeve.

This helps improve fit and weight distribution when carrying multiple pouches and accessories.

Ballistic Protection Notice

The standard Battle Belt is supplied with non-ballistic padding only and provides no ballistic protection.

Ballistic protection is only provided when the belt is equipped with compatible certified armor inserts. Protection level, coverage, and performance depend on the specific insert, its condition, correct installation, and the complete equipment configuration.

Mission Frontline Take

The most interesting feature here is the connection between load carriage and optional armor coverage.

As a standalone belt, it gives you a large MOLLE platform around the hips for magazines, medical equipment, radio gear, and other first-line equipment.

But when paired with the Vulcan III, it becomes part of a larger load-distribution concept. Shifting some carrier weight toward the hips can be especially useful once the plate carrier becomes heavily loaded.

The removable padding also makes the system more flexible: use the standard inserts when comfort and load carriage are the priority, or replace them with compatible soft armor when additional coverage is required.

The main thing to remember is that this is not a complete belt system by itself — a compatible inner belt is mandatory.
