Extreme cold-weather insulation designed to be worn over military or outdoor boots.
The Vacuum Reflex Thermal Overboots are purpose-built insulated overshoes designed for prolonged use in extremely cold environments.
Used by the British Armed Forces, these overboots are intended to be worn over standard military boots or outdoor footwear to add a substantial additional layer of thermal protection during static periods, cold-weather operations, winter camps, expeditions, and other low-temperature environments.
A reflective thermal layer helps retain heat around the foot, while the rugged water-resistant outer construction provides additional protection against snow, moisture, and harsh winter conditions.
The overboot design allows them to be pulled on over existing footwear rather than replacing your primary boot system.

Mission Frontline Take
Cold feet often become a problem during static phases, even when you're already wearing good boots.
That's where thermal overboots make sense. Instead of replacing your primary footwear, they add a large insulating layer around the entire boot and help reduce heat loss when movement slows down.
We see these as especially useful for observation positions, winter camps, vehicle crews, cold-weather breaks, or any situation where you're standing or sitting for long periods in sub-zero conditions.
The biggest advantage is flexibility: keep your normal boots on for movement, then add the overboots when you become static and need significantly more insulation.
The tradeoff is obvious. At around 2.6 lb per pair, these are not lightweight footwear, and they're not intended to replace your regular boots for long-distance movement. Their job is maximum additional thermal protection when the cold becomes the main problem.
Keep in mind: these are insulating overboots, not standalone footwear. They are designed to be worn over suitable boots.
