Integrated three-magazine plate carrier flap for G36, G3, M4, and AK-pattern magazines with adjustable shock-cord retention and additional MOLLE/PALS expansion.

The Zentauron Triple Magazine Flap is a modular front panel for compatible plate carriers with three permanently integrated rifle magazine pouches.

Instead of attaching three separate magazine pouches to a MOLLE panel, the entire magazine setup is built directly into the flap. This creates a clean, compact carrier configuration while still providing additional MOLLE/PALS attachment space for secondary equipment.

Three removable retention kits are included to provide additional magazine security when required.

Made in Germany.

Three Integrated Rifle Magazine Pouches

The flap provides three dedicated rifle magazine compartments.

According to Zentauron, the system is compatible with:

  • G36 magazines
  • G3 magazines
  • M4 / AR-15-style magazines
  • AK-47 / AK-1XX-style magazines

This makes the flap useful for organizations or users who operate more than one rifle platform and want to retain the same carrier architecture.

Three Included Retention Kits

The Magazine Flap includes:

3 × shock-cord retention kits

Each magazine position can be secured individually.

The retention system helps provide additional security during movement while maintaining direct access to the magazines.

Depending on the setup, the retention components can be configured according to the magazine type and desired level of security.

Integrated MOLLE / PALS Expansion

Additional MOLLE/PALS loops are positioned across the front of the magazine pouches.

These attachment points serve both as mounting locations for the included retention system and as expansion space for compatible equipment.

Possible additions include:

  • Pistol magazine pouches
  • Tourniquet holders
  • Small utility pouches
  • Compact tools
  • Other MOLLE/PALS-compatible accessories

Additional Lower MOLLE Row

A separate horizontal attachment channel runs along the lower edge of the flap.

It provides:

4 additional MOLLE attachment points

This creates a useful mounting position for smaller equipment such as:

  • Tourniquet holders
  • Pistol magazine pouches
  • Compact tools
  • Other low-profile accessories

Secure Plate Carrier Attachment

Four webbing straps are positioned along the upper rear section of the flap.

The straps are routed through the carrier's MOLLE/PALS loops and then back through the corresponding webbing on the flap.

They are secured against the rear loop surface.

The lower part of the flap uses an additional hook-and-loop interface that attaches inside the compatible plate bag.

Together, these attachment points provide a stable connection between the magazine flap and carrier.

Additional Flat Storage Behind the Flap

The interface between the plate carrier and the Magazine Flap can also provide space for suitable flat equipment.

Depending on the loadout, this area can be used for:

  • Flat IFAK
  • Maps
  • Documents
  • Other thin equipment

This adds another storage option without requiring a separate external pouch.

Compatible Plate Carriers

The Magazine Flap is designed for:

  • Zentauron Vulcan Minimal Plate Carrier
  • Zentauron Vulcan III Plate Carrier
  • Zentauron Vulcan II Plate Carrier
  • Compatible LHT-issued plate carrier systems

Compatibility with other plate carriers depends on the MOLLE/PALS layout and hook-and-loop interface.

Military-Oriented Materials

The flap is manufactured from Cordura® Polyamide 6.6 with Polyamide 6.6 webbing.

According to Zentauron, the materials are selected according to German Bundeswehr technical requirements or comparable military specifications depending on the component.

The construction is also designed with military IR / NIR signature requirements in mind.

Compatibility Note

Rifle magazine dimensions can vary significantly between manufacturers, generations, baseplates, and aftermarket components.

The flap is designed for the magazine families specified by Zentauron, but the exact fit and retention should be verified with the specific magazines being used.

Mission Frontline Take

The main advantage of this flap compared with the standard Modular Flap is that the primary rifle-magazine setup is already integrated.

That saves MOLLE space, reduces the number of separate components, and gives the front of the carrier a cleaner profile.

The broad magazine compatibility is also interesting. Being able to run G36, G3, M4, or AK-pattern magazines on the same basic panel makes the flap much more flexible than a placard designed around only one magazine geometry.

At the same time, the additional MOLLE on the front and lower edge means the integrated magazine pouches do not eliminate expansion options.

For users running compatible Vulcan carriers who want a ready-to-use German-made three-magazine front panel rather than building one from separate pouches, the Triple Magazine Flap is the more streamlined solution.
