Trauma IFAK Pouch
Couldn't load pickup availability
Purpose-built trauma pouch developed for rapid access, structured medical organization, and flexible MOLLE/PALS mounting.
The Zentauron Trauma IFAK is more than a basic medical pouch. It was developed as a compact trauma-care platform in cooperation with users from police and military units and with input from TREMA, the German professional association for tactical casualty care.
The layout is designed around the practical organization of commonly used trauma-care equipment and TCCC-oriented treatment concepts, with a strong focus on rapid access, intuitive organization, and flexible carry options.
The pouch can accommodate a broad range of commercially available tourniquets, dressings, airway equipment, gloves, trauma shears, and other compact medical components.
Made in Germany.
Designed for Tactical Trauma Care
The internal layout is designed to support organized storage of equipment commonly used for severe-injury first response.
Suitable contents can include:
- Pressure dressings
- Hemostatic or compressed gauze
- Triangle bandages
- Disposable gloves
- Trauma shears
- Small flashlights
- Airway equipment
- Decompression needles
- Other compact first-aid supplies
The pouch itself does not determine treatment capability; it provides a structured platform for organizing the equipment selected by the user.
Fast, Glove-Friendly Access
The main compartment opens using large zipper pulls with rubber pull tabs.
The design is intended to remain easy to operate:
- While wearing gloves
- Under poor weather conditions
- With reduced dexterity
- During one-handed access when necessary
The wide-opening construction provides a clear view of the contents and helps reduce unnecessary searching.
Internal Organization
The interior provides multiple dedicated retention options:
- 2 mesh pockets
- 2 large elastic loops
- 8 small elastic loops
This layout allows medical equipment to be separated by size and function instead of being stored loose inside the pouch.
External Tourniquet Compartment
A dedicated tourniquet pouch is mounted externally and secured with hook-and-loop closure.
This keeps a tourniquet immediately accessible without requiring the main IFAK compartment to be opened first.
A front hook-and-loop identification panel measuring approximately:
2 × 2 in / 5 × 5 cm
provides space for:
- Medical patches
- IFAK markings
- Blood-type patches
- Unit or team identification
- Other hook-backed identifiers
MOLLE / Faststick Mounting
The Faststick version attaches directly to common MOLLE/PALS platforms.
Compatible mounting locations include:
- Plate carriers
- Protective vests
- Chest rigs
- Tactical backpacks
- Battle belts
- Other MOLLE/PALS-compatible equipment
Depending on the setup, the pouch can also be adapted for belt or vehicle-based carry using suitable retention methods.

Mission Frontline Take
The strongest feature of the Trauma IFAK is that the internal layout was clearly designed around actual medical access rather than simply maximizing pouch volume.
The external tourniquet compartment is particularly useful because one of the most time-sensitive pieces of equipment can remain accessible without opening the complete kit.
Inside, the combination of mesh compartments and different-sized elastic loops makes it much easier to create a repeatable packing layout — an important advantage when the same kit is used during training and emergency response.
We also like the Faststick mounting because the pouch can be integrated directly into a plate carrier, chest rig, backpack, or belt-based system without needing a separate mounting platform.
For users looking for a German-made, professionally developed trauma IFAK with a highly structured internal layout, this is one of Zentauron's more purpose-driven medical pouches.
