RV Standard Medium MOLLE Utility Pouch

Versatile 3.5-liter MOLLE utility pouch offering a balanced combination of storage capacity, internal organization, and modular expansion.

The Zentauron RV Standard Medium is the mid-size option in the RV Standard series, providing significantly more storage than the Small version while remaining compact enough for plate carriers, chest rigs, tactical vests, and MOLLE-equipped backpacks.

With approximately 3.5 liters of capacity, it is well suited for users who need more than small-item storage but do not require the footprint of a larger external pouch.

Three integrated Faststick straps provide secure MOLLE/PALS mounting, while additional front and side webbing allows the pouch itself to serve as another modular attachment platform.

Made in Germany.

3.5-Liter Utility Capacity

The Medium provides approximately:

3.5 L / 214 cu in

of general-purpose storage.

Depending on the loadout, it can accommodate:

• Gloves
• Multitools
• Compact hand tools
• Flashlights
• Spare parts
• Batteries
• Electronics
• Personal equipment
• Compact food
• Other mission-related accessories

The Medium is particularly useful when the RV Standard Small is too limited but a large sustainment-style pouch would be excessive.

Dual-Zipper Access

The main compartment opens across the upper portion using a dual-zipper system.

Rubber zipper pulls provide improved grip and make the pouch easier to operate while wearing gloves.

Internal Equipment Organization

Elastic retention loops inside the pouch help keep smaller equipment organized rather than loose inside the main compartment.

The internal layout includes:

• One larger elastic retention loop on the body-side panel
• Two smaller elastic retention loops on the opposite side

These can help secure equipment such as:

• Flashlights
• Tools
• Electronics
• Cables
• Accessories
• Other compact items

Front 2 × 3 MOLLE / PALS Field

The front of the pouch provides a 2-column × 3-row MOLLE/PALS field for additional equipment.

Compatible accessories can include:

• Tourniquet holders
• Small utility pouches
• Tool holders
• Flashlight pouches
• Other MOLLE/PALS components

Side MOLLE Expansion

Additional MOLLE/PALS loops on the sides provide further modular attachment options.

This allows the Medium pouch to function as both a storage compartment and an expansion platform for smaller accessories.

Three Faststick Mounting Straps

Three integrated rear Faststick straps secure the pouch to compatible MOLLE/PALS systems.

Suitable platforms include:

• Plate carriers
• Protective vests
• Chest rigs
• MOLLE backpacks
• Tactical load-bearing systems
• Other PALS-compatible equipment

No separate mounting clips are required.

Drainage Eyelet

A drainage eyelet in the bottom allows accumulated moisture to escape after rain, cleaning, or wet-weather use.

Durable Cordura® Construction

The pouch is manufactured from rugged Cordura® Polyamide 6.6 for dependable field use.

At approximately:

5.8 oz / 165 g

the empty pouch remains relatively lightweight for its 3.5-liter capacity.

RV Standard Medium vs. Small

The Medium is the more versatile option when the Small begins to feel restrictive.

RV Standard Small: approx. 1.6 L / 98 cu in
RV Standard Medium: approx. 3.5 L / 214 cu in

That gives the Medium more than twice the storage volume while still keeping the pouch compact enough for carrier-mounted use.

Mission Frontline Take

The Medium is probably the sweet spot of the RV Standard series for most carrier and backpack setups.

At 3.5 liters, it is large enough to hold a meaningful amount of gear but not so large that it starts behaving like a small sustainment pouch.

The internal retention loops keep smaller items under control, while the front and side MOLLE fields mean the pouch does not simply consume attachment space — it gives some of that modularity back.

For users looking for one medium-size German-made utility pouch that works equally well on a plate carrier, chest rig, or backpack, the RV Standard Medium is a very balanced option.
