Low-profile dual rifle magazine pouch with elastic retention, open-top access, and compact MOLLE/PALS mounting.
The Zentauron Rubber Pouch Rifle Double is the higher-capacity version of the Rubber Pouch Rifle Single, designed to carry two rifle magazines or similarly sized pieces of equipment while maintaining a very slim profile.
Despite its double capacity, the pouch remains lightweight and compact. Its elastic construction conforms to the shape of the inserted magazines and provides passive retention without requiring a conventional flap or buckle.
The result is a flexible dual-magazine pouch well suited to plate carriers, tactical vests, battle belts, training setups, Airsoft, Milsim, and other modular equipment systems.
Made in Germany.
Dual Magazine Capacity
The pouch is designed to carry two common rifle magazines side by side.
Compatible magazine formats can include:
- M4 / M16 / AR-15
- PMAG
- AUG
- FAMAS
- SCAR-L
- FN F2000
- FN FNC
- SIG 55X
- AK-74-style magazines
- SA80
- Other common 5.56 mm magazine formats
Exact fit depends on magazine geometry, baseplate configuration, and aftermarket extensions.
Elastic Retention
The flexible pouch body uses elastic material to create passive retention around the inserted equipment.
This provides:
- Secure magazine retention
- Open-top access
- No fixed flap
- No buckle over the magazine
- Reduced overall bulk
- Fast access during use
Two integrated pull tabs help make magazine removal easier.
Optional Additional Retention
For users who require additional security, the pouch can be combined with Zentauron's optional Magazine Pouch Retention Kit.
This allows the setup to be configured according to preference:
Standard setup → low-profile open-top access
Retention kit → additional magazine security
Low-Profile Construction
The pouch measures approximately:
3.9 × 6.3 × 0.4 in / 10 × 16 × 1 cm
and weighs only around:
2.4 oz / 68 g
Its flat construction is particularly useful on crowded MOLLE surfaces where minimizing equipment depth is important.
MOLLE / PALS Mounting
The rear of the pouch uses durable Polyamide webbing for attachment to compatible MOLLE/PALS platforms.
Suitable mounting locations include:
- Plate carriers
- Tactical vests
- Chest rigs
- Battle belts
- MOLLE duty belts
- Tactical backpacks
- Other PALS-compatible equipment
Multi-Purpose Capability
Although primarily designed as a dual rifle magazine pouch, the flexible construction can also accommodate similarly sized equipment such as:
- GPS devices
- Compasses
- Multitools
- Compact medical dressings
- Other comparable field equipment

Mission Frontline Take
The Double version makes sense when you want more capacity without doubling the amount of MOLLE space and bulk associated with two traditional magazine pouches.
Its biggest advantage is exactly the same as the Single: the elastic construction keeps the pouch simple, flat, and fast to access.
The difference is capacity. Two magazines can be carried in one compact module, which is especially useful on smaller chest rigs and plate carriers where usable front space is limited.
The tradeoff remains the open design: magazines are less protected from dirt and environmental exposure than in a covered pouch.
For users who prioritize capacity, low profile, and fast access, the Rubber Pouch Rifle Double is a very efficient German-made solution.
