The Zentauron Quick-Draw Rifle Magazine Pouch Short combines a rigid Kydex® retention profile with durable Cordura® construction to create a compact open-top magazine pouch for larger rifle-magazine formats.

Elastic shock cord compresses the Kydex® profile around the inserted magazine, providing adjustable retention while keeping the magazine immediately accessible.

The short configuration reduces unnecessary pouch height and bulk, making it particularly useful on plate carriers, chest rigs, and battle belts where equipment space is limited.

Kydex® Quick-Draw Retention

A molded Kydex® profile forms the structural core of the pouch.

Compatibility Note

The pouch is designed around a broad range of larger rifle-magazine formats rather than one single magazine geometry.

G36 magazines use a different cartridge and geometry from typical 7.62 NATO magazines, but are included among the compatible formats specified for this pouch.

Magazine fit should always be verified when using unusual baseplates, extensions, or substantially different magazine designs.

Mission Frontline Take

This pouch is essentially the heavier-caliber counterpart to Zentauron's compact quick-draw magazine systems.

The Kydex® profile is the key feature. It keeps the pouch open, provides consistent retention, and makes reinserting a magazine much easier than with a completely soft fabric pouch.
