Current-generation German military combat jacket with extended coverage and expanded field storage.
This original German Bundeswehr long combat jacket is part of the modern KBS SK (Combat Clothing System, Armed Forces) and the enhanced IdZ-ES Infantryman of the Future system.
Manufactured in Germany between 2023 and 2025 according to Bundeswehr technical specifications, this extended-length version combines flame-resistant materials, extensive ventilation, integrated vector protection, and a significantly expanded pocket configuration for demanding field use.
The technical fabric blend of FR viscose, aramid, and antistatic fibers is designed for professional military environments, while integrated permethrin vector protection helps protect against insects and other vectors during extended field operations.
Compared with the short KBS SK combat jacket, this version features a longer cut with additional lower-body storage, including large bellows pockets and dedicated side pockets designed around magazine or equipment carriage.

Mission Frontline Take
The long KBS SK Combat Jacket is the more equipment-oriented version of the modern Bundeswehr combat jacket.
You get the same core concept — FR materials, ventilation, elbow-pad compatibility, modern pocket placement, and integrated vector protection — but with significantly more coverage and storage around the lower torso.
The five additional bellows pockets are what really change the character of the jacket. They give you much more room for equipment and make the long version particularly interesting when you need to carry gear directly on the garment rather than relying exclusively on a belt or chest rig.
The extended cut also provides additional protection and coverage in poor weather and static field positions.
For a cleaner, lighter setup under body armor or load-bearing equipment, we would generally choose the short KBS SK Combat Jacket. If you want more coverage and significantly more integrated storage, the long version is the more capable option.
As with the short version, this is factory-second Bundeswehr production, so visible cosmetic imperfections should be expected.
