Fully modular split-front chest rig for mission-specific loadouts and backpack-compatible field use.
The Zentauron Modular Split Front Chest Rig is the configurable base version of Zentauron’s non-modular Split Front system.
Instead of integrated fixed pouches, both sides of the rig provide extensive MOLLE/PALS attachment space, allowing the user to build a completely mission-specific setup using magazine pouches, medical equipment, radio pouches, utility pouches, and other modular components.
Each side features 3 rows × 7 columns of MOLLE, plus an additional horizontal MOLLE row underneath for compact items such as multitools, magazines, or tourniquets.
Large internal hook-and-loop compartments on both rig panels provide additional storage and allow compatible hook-and-loop inserts or magazine pouches to be mounted internally.
Made in Germany.
Modular MOLLE Layout
Each side of the chest rig provides:
- 3 rows × 7 columns MOLLE/PALS
- Additional horizontal MOLLE row underneath
- Large internal hook-and-loop storage compartment
This creates a highly flexible platform for equipment such as:
- Magazine pouches
- Radio pouches
- Medical pouches
- Tourniquet holders
- Multitools
- Utility pouches
- Admin equipment
- Navigation equipment
Internal Hook-and-Loop Integration
Both rig panels feature large internal hook-and-loop areas.
These can be used for:
- Hook-and-loop magazine inserts
- Maps and documents
- Flat utility equipment
- Transparent organizer modules
- Compatible hook-and-loop accessories
The inner side of the rig body is also lined with loop material to make integration with protective vests and additional modular components easier.
Included Shoulder Harness
The chest rig includes Zentauron’s anatomically shaped shoulder harness.
The harness is designed for use with Split Front Chest Rigs as well as selected duty and combat belt systems.
It features five ultra-thin steel tri-glides, allowing different straps and load-bearing components to be attached securely while keeping the harness flat enough for use under body armor or backpack shoulder straps.
Comfort & Backpack Compatibility
The complete inner surface of the harness is lined with 3D spacer mesh to improve comfort and ventilation during extended wear.
The low-profile hardware helps reduce pressure points when the rig is used together with:
- Backpacks
- Protective vests
- Plate carriers
- Other load-bearing systems
Rear MOLLE loops also allow additional equipment such as hydration carriers to be attached.

Mission Frontline Take
This is the version to choose if you want to build the chest rig around your own equipment instead of accepting a fixed pouch layout.
The amount of MOLLE space on both sides gives you a lot of freedom to configure magazines, communications, medical equipment, and utility gear exactly where you want it.
We especially like the low-profile shoulder harness. The thin steel hardware and 3D-mesh construction make it much easier to combine the rig with a large rucksack or protective vest than a heavily padded conventional harness.
Compared with the Non Modular Split Front Chest Rig, the choice is simple:
Non Modular → ready-to-use integrated pouch layout
Modular → maximum freedom to build your own setup
For users who frequently change roles or equipment configurations, the modular version is the more flexible platform.
