Hydra Assault Pack

Modular hydration and assault-pack system that can be mounted directly to a plate carrier or used as a standalone backpack.

The Zentauron Hydra Assault Pack combines a dedicated 3-liter hydration compartment with additional storage space for mission-essential equipment.

Designed for military, tactical, hunting, outdoor, and training applications, the Hydra can be attached directly to compatible plate carriers and protective vests or configured as a standalone backpack using the included carrying system.

Extensive MOLLE/PALS attachment areas on the front, sides, and bottom provide additional expansion space, making the Hydra more versatile than a conventional hydration carrier.

Integrated 3-Liter Hydration Compartment

At the center of the Hydra is a dedicated compartment for a hydration bladder with a capacity of up to:

3 L / approx. 101 fl oz

Internal elastic cord helps stabilize the bladder and reduce unnecessary movement as the water level changes.

Upper routing openings with hook-and-loop closures allow drinking tubes or cables to be routed out of the pack and toward the shoulder area.

Hydration bladder is not included unless specifically stated.

Additional Equipment Storage

The main compartment provides additional room beyond the hydration bladder.

Depending on the configuration, it can accommodate compact equipment such as:

• Rain gear
• Emergency equipment
• Lightweight insulation
• Gloves
• Small tools
• Field supplies
• Other mission-essential gear

This gives the Hydra considerably more versatility than a dedicated bladder sleeve.

Extensive MOLLE / PALS Expansion

MOLLE/PALS attachment loops are located across the:

The modular exterior allows the pack to be configured according to the user's role and equipment requirements.

Plate Carrier Mounting

The Hydra can be attached directly to compatible:

• Plate carriers
• Protective vests
• MOLLE/PALS load-bearing systems

This allows the pack to become part of the user's carrier instead of requiring separate backpack shoulder straps.

Optional MOLLE clips can be used for compatible mounting configurations.

Standalone Backpack Configuration

Four additional MOLLE loops on the rear allow the included carrying system to be installed, converting the Hydra into a standalone backpack.

This gives the user two distinct carry options:

Carrier Mounted → integrated directly into tactical equipment
Standalone → independent hydration / assault backpack

The carrying system is included with the pack.

Cable & Hydration Tube Routing

Hook-and-loop-secured pass-through openings at the upper corners provide dedicated routing for:

• Hydration tubes
• Communication cables
• Other equipment wiring

This helps keep external routing cleaner and reduces loose cable or tube management.

IRR / NIR-Oriented Construction

The Hydra Assault Pack is manufactured from durable Cordura® Polyamide 6.6.

IRR/NIR-oriented materials are designed to reduce infrared reflectance compared with conventional civilian equipment and make the pack suitable for professional tactical applications.

Mission Frontline Take

The Hydra is much more interesting than a basic hydration carrier because it can function as both an integrated back panel and a small standalone assault pack.

Mounted directly to a plate carrier, it keeps water and additional equipment close to the body without adding another set of shoulder straps. If the carrier is not needed, the included harness converts the same pack into an independent backpack.

The 3-liter hydration capacity also gives it noticeably more endurance than smaller 2-liter systems, while the additional storage compartment leaves room for rain gear, emergency equipment, or other essentials.
