Low-profile horizontal double magazine pouch for M4, PMAG, and other 5.56 STANAG magazines.

The Zentauron Horizontal Double M4 Magazine Pouch is designed for users who want rifle magazines positioned for sideways extraction rather than a conventional vertical draw.

This horizontal layout can be especially useful for vehicle crews, prone positions, or setups worn under heavier protective equipment where vertical access is restricted.

The pouch holds two common M4 / PMAG / 5.56 STANAG magazines and can be configured for either right- or left-handed access.

Made in Germany.

Horizontal Magazine Access

The pouch mounts horizontally to the carrier, allowing the magazines to be drawn from the side.

This can provide an ergonomic advantage in situations such as:

  • Vehicle operations
  • Prone shooting positions
  • Confined spaces
  • Full-coverage armor setups
  • Low-profile carrier configurations

The orientation can be adapted for both right- and left-handed users.

Double 5.56 Magazine Capacity

The pouch is designed to carry:

  • 2 × M4-style magazines
  • 2 × PMAGs
  • 2 × compatible 5.56 STANAG magazines

Exact fit can vary depending on magazine generation, baseplate design, and aftermarket extensions.

Included Retention Options

The included retention components can be attached to the pouch in two different configurations.

This allows the user to adapt the magazine security according to the preferred setup and helps reduce the risk of accidental loss during movement.

Front MOLLE / PALS Expansion

Additional MOLLE/PALS webbing is sewn onto the front of the pouch.

This allows compatible equipment to be stacked onto the magazine pouch, including:

  • Pistol magazine pouches
  • Tourniquet holders
  • Small utility pouches
  • Other MOLLE/PALS-compatible accessories

The relatively flat construction also allows the pouch to sit beneath other equipment without adding excessive bulk.

MOLLE Mounting

The rear of the pouch features a MOLLE/PALS attachment interface.

MOLLE clips are included, allowing the pouch to be mounted directly to compatible:

  • Plate carriers
  • Protective vests
  • Chest rigs
  • Battle belts
  • Other MOLLE/PALS platforms

Compatibility Note

Magazine dimensions can vary between manufacturers, generations, and baseplate designs.

The pouch is intended for common M4, PMAG, and other 5.56 STANAG-style magazines. Fit should be verified when using oversized baseplates or unusual magazine geometries.

Mission Frontline Take

The key feature here is not simply that it carries two magazines — it is how those magazines are accessed.

A horizontal draw can be significantly more practical when seated in a vehicle or lying prone, where a conventional upward magazine draw may become awkward or blocked by other equipment.

We also like that the pouch can be configured for either side of the carrier and that the front MOLLE remains usable for additional gear.

For users building a setup around vehicle work, confined spaces, or prone access, this horizontal double pouch offers a very practical alternative to conventional vertical magazine carriers.
