Versatile field shelter with waterproof 3-layer construction and IRR treatment.
This German BW Special Forces-style multipurpose tarp is designed for field shelter, concealment, weather protection, and equipment coverage in demanding outdoor environments.
Constructed from a waterproof and breathable 3-layer laminate, the tarp provides reliable protection against rain and wind while remaining suitable for extended field use.
The material is manufactured in accordance with TL 8305-0290 and features an IRR treatment designed to reduce infrared reflectance. A light-blocking coating further helps limit light transmission through the material when used as a shelter or observation cover.
With 16 reinforced perimeter attachment loops and three additional centerline attachment points, the tarp can be configured in a wide variety of shelter setups using cord, bungees, trees, poles, or other anchor points.
It can be used as a basha, lean-to, A-frame shelter, bivouac cover, observation-post cover, windbreak, rain shelter, sunshade, sleeping-bag cover, equipment tarp, or camouflage cover.

Mission Frontline Take
A proper field tarp is one of the most adaptable pieces of equipment you can carry.
What makes this one especially useful is the large number of reinforced attachment points. With 16 perimeter loops plus three centerline points, you have far more configuration options than with a basic recreational tarp.
That makes it suitable for anything from a quick rain shelter to a more structured bivouac or observation setup.
The 3-layer construction and IRR treatment also move it clearly beyond a standard camping tarp and make it much more interesting for professional, tactical, and military-oriented users.
The tradeoff is weight: at roughly 4.2 lb, this is not an ultralight backpacking tarp. It is built around durability, weather protection, and field versatility rather than minimum weight.
