A proven large-capacity field pack built for carrying serious gear.
The German Bundeswehr Combat Backpack is a rugged 70-liter field pack designed for extended outdoor use, military-oriented applications, trekking, camping, and bushcraft.
Its large main compartment is divided into two internal sections, providing plenty of room for clothing, equipment, food, and other field essentials. Three external pockets and a separate zippered bottom compartment help keep frequently used gear organized and accessible without opening the entire pack.
Padded shoulder straps and a supportive waist belt help keep the load close to the body and improve comfort when carrying heavier equipment.
Multiple external attachment straps located around the lid, bottom, and rear of the pack allow additional equipment such as a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, jacket, shelter equipment, or tools to be secured externally.

Mission Frontline Take
This is a classic large-format military rucksack: simple, rugged, and built around carrying a lot of equipment without unnecessary complexity.
The 70-liter capacity gives you enough room for multi-day outdoor setups, cold-weather clothing, food, shelter equipment, or a larger field load, while the separate external and bottom compartments make organization much easier than with a single-compartment pack.
We especially like the external attachment points. Sleeping bags, mats, wet gear, or bulky equipment can stay outside the main compartment instead of taking up valuable internal space.
At around 3.3 lb, this isn't an ultralight hiking pack — and it isn't trying to be. The appeal is the straightforward military construction, large capacity, and unmistakable German Flecktarn appearance.
For bushcraft, camping, trekking, surplus-style field kits, airsoft, or anyone looking for a traditional German military rucksack, it's a very practical setup.
