Hybrid Cordura® and Kydex® magazine pouch designed to carry two compatible 5.56 NATO rifle magazines with adjustable retention and fast open-top access.

The Zentauron Double Quick-Draw Magazine Pouch expands the proven hybrid construction of the single-magazine version to a two-magazine configuration.

A structured Kydex® profile, durable Cordura® Polyamide 6.6 body, PVC-coated internal lining, and individually adjustable elastic retention combine to securely hold two compatible rifle magazines while keeping them readily accessible.

The pouch attaches to standard MOLLE/PALS platforms using two integrated Faststick straps and provides additional MOLLE/PALS attachment space on the front.

Made in Germany.

Two-Magazine Capacity

The pouch is designed to carry:

2 × compatible 5.56 NATO rifle magazines

Suitable magazine formats include, depending on exact dimensions:

  • M4 / M16
  • STANAG-pattern magazines
  • PMAG-style magazines
  • Steyr AUG
  • SA80
  • Other similarly sized 5.56 mm rifle magazines

Magazine fit can vary by manufacturer, generation, body shape, and baseplate design.

Cordura® + Kydex® Hybrid Construction

The pouch combines flexible textile construction with a rigid Kydex® structure.

Cordura® Polyamide 6.6

Provides abrasion-resistant exterior construction suitable for demanding field use.

Kydex® U-Profile

Adds structure and helps the pouch maintain its shape after a magazine is removed.

PVC-Coated Interior

The interior is lined with PVC-coated tarpaulin, providing additional friction and helping stabilize the magazines inside the pouch.

The combination creates a pouch that remains structured without becoming a completely rigid carrier.

Individually Adjustable Retention

Elastic shock cords run through the Kydex® structure and allow the holding pressure to be adjusted.

Increasing tension compresses the profile around the magazines, allowing the user to tune retention according to:

  • Magazine dimensions
  • Desired holding pressure
  • Equipment setup
  • Personal preference

Once adjusted, the shock cord can be secured and stored within the lower portion of the pouch.

Open-Top Quick-Access Design

The pouch does not rely on a conventional top flap.

This provides unobstructed access to the magazines while the Kydex® structure and adjustable shock cord provide retention.

The rigid profile also helps keep the opening accessible for reinsertion after a magazine has been removed.

Front MOLLE / PALS Expansion

MOLLE/PALS webbing is positioned on the front of the pouch.

This allows compatible equipment to be mounted over the magazine pouch when the loadout requires additional capacity.

Possible accessories include:

  • Pistol magazine pouches
  • Tourniquet holders
  • Compact utility pouches
  • Other MOLLE/PALS accessories

As with any stacked pouch configuration, additional equipment will increase the overall depth of the carrier.

MOLLE / Faststick Attachment

Two rear attachment straps secure the pouch to compatible MOLLE/PALS surfaces.

Suitable platforms include:

  • Plate carriers
  • Chest rigs
  • Protective vests
  • Battle belts
  • MOLLE-equipped packs
  • Other compatible load-bearing systems

IRR-Oriented Materials

According to Zentauron, the webbing and textile components are selected in line with German Bundeswehr TL-oriented requirements and use IRR-oriented materials.

These materials are intended to reduce infrared reflectance compared with conventional civilian textiles.

This should not be interpreted as making the pouch invisible under night-vision or infrared observation.

Compact Double-Magazine Footprint

The pouch measures approximately:

3.0 × 4.7 × 2.0 in / 7.5 × 12 × 5 cm

Despite carrying two magazines, it retains the same basic frontal footprint as the single version while increasing depth to accommodate the second magazine.

Compatibility Note

The manufacturer source also mentions FN FAL compatibility. Standard FN FAL magazines are normally 7.62×51 mm, not 5.56 NATO, so Mission Frontline would not advertise standard FAL magazine compatibility without specific confirmation from Zentauron.

For the U.S. listing, it is safer to describe this pouch around verified M4/M16, STANAG, AUG, SA80, and similarly sized 5.56 magazine formats.

Mission Frontline Take

The Double version is useful when you want to increase ammunition capacity without using twice the horizontal MOLLE space.

Compared with two separate single pouches, the tradeoff is additional depth. In return, you keep a narrow frontal footprint and still get the structured Kydex® opening and adjustable retention of the Quick-Draw system.

The front MOLLE is also valuable because the pouch can serve as the base layer for smaller accessories, although stacking equipment naturally makes the setup bulkier.

For users who prefer a compact two-magazine configuration with adjustable retention instead of a traditional flap pouch, this is a strong German-made option.
