Lightweight weather protection built for serious rain.
The AB Waterproof Jacket is a lightweight, technical rain shell designed for demanding weather conditions. Built for professional use, outdoor activities, training, travel, and everyday wear, it combines reliable weather protection with the mobility and functional details expected from a modern tactical shell.
A 20,000 mm waterproof rating and fully sealed seams provide strong protection against rain and wet conditions, while a 15,000 g/m²/24h breathability rating helps manage heat and moisture during active use.
The lightweight stretch construction allows unrestricted movement and makes the jacket easy to integrate into a layering system. Wear it over a base layer in mild conditions or combine it with an insulating midlayer when temperatures drop.
Large zippered front pockets, underarm ventilation, an adjustable hood, and multiple adjustment points allow the jacket to adapt to changing conditions and activity levels.
The interior features a patterned print designed to reduce the uncomfortable sticking sensation that can occur when waterproof shells are worn directly against the skin.

Mission Frontline Take
This is the shell we would choose when the priority is weather protection rather than insulation.
The 20K waterproof rating, sealed seams, and adjustable hood make it a serious rain layer, while the relatively low weight means it can stay packed in your gear until the weather turns.
What we particularly like is the ventilation setup. Waterproof jackets can become uncomfortable quickly during movement, so the combination of underarm vents and mesh-backed front pockets gives you several ways to dump excess heat without removing your weather layer.
It also works very well as part of a modular layering system: pair it with a lightweight insulation layer such as the AB Level 4 for changing conditions, or wear it over heavier insulation when temperatures drop.
Important: this is a waterproof shell, not an insulated jacket. Its job is to keep wind and rain out while your base and insulation layers manage warmth.
