Lightweight mobility. Built for hard use.
The AB Lightweight Tactical Pants MK I combine durability, mobility, and practical storage in a lightweight design built for demanding use.
Constructed from a durable nylon 4-way stretch fabric, the pants move naturally with the body without restricting mobility during kneeling, climbing, running, or working around equipment. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment helps shed light rain and moisture while maintaining the lightweight feel of the fabric.
Reinforced and articulated knees provide additional durability and freedom of movement, while triple-stitched stress points strengthen areas exposed to repeated load and movement.
With a versatile pocket layout, reinforced ankle areas, adjustable leg openings, and multiple attachment points, the MK I is well suited for duty, range use, tactical training, outdoor activities, hiking, bushcraft, travel, and everyday wear.

Mission Frontline Take
The MK I hits a sweet spot that many tactical pants miss: it gives you the durability and pocket layout expected from field-oriented clothing without feeling unnecessarily heavy or restrictive.
The 4-way stretch fabric is probably its biggest advantage. Whether you're kneeling, getting in and out of a vehicle, working around gear, or simply wearing the pants for an entire day, the extra mobility makes a noticeable difference compared with traditional non-stretch tactical pants.
We also like that AB kept the cargo layout relatively low-profile. You get plenty of usable storage without turning the pants into an oversized traditional cargo design.
For us, the MK I makes the most sense as a versatile three-season tactical pant for range days, duty, outdoor use, travel, or everyday wear.
Keep in mind: the DWR treatment helps with light rain and moisture, but these are not waterproof rain pants.
