Compact MOLLE-mounted hydration carrier designed for 2-liter water bladders and direct integration with plate carriers and protective vests.
The Zentauron 2L Hydration Carrier provides a dedicated way to carry hydration directly on tactical load-bearing equipment.
Designed around common 2-liter hydration bladders, the carrier mounts to the rear of compatible plate carriers, protective vests, and other MOLLE/PALS platforms while keeping the water supply close to the body.
The main compartment uses a simple top-loading design with hook-and-loop closure, while the hydration tube can be routed out through the side of the lid.
Made in Germany.
2-Liter Hydration Compartment
The main compartment is designed to accommodate a compatible:
2 L / approx. 68 fl oz hydration bladder
The bladder slides directly into the carrier and is secured by the upper hook-and-loop closure.
A dedicated opening allows the drinking tube to be routed from the side of the lid toward the shoulder straps of the carrier.
Hydration bladder is not included unless specifically stated.
MOLLE / PALS Mounting
The rear of the Hydration Carrier is designed for secure attachment to compatible MOLLE/PALS platforms.
The mounting system includes:
- Two long rear MOLLE attachment straps
- Five horizontal MOLLE attachment rows
- Compatible with plate carriers
- Compatible with protective vests
- Compatible with other suitable MOLLE/PALS platforms
This provides a stable attachment directly behind the wearer.
Additional MOLLE Expansion
The carrier also provides external MOLLE/PALS attachment space for additional pouches and accessories.
Front
- Approx. 3 × 4 MOLLE/PALS field
Sides
- Approx. 2 × 4 MOLLE/PALS per side
These areas can be used for compact equipment such as:
- Utility pouches
- Medical equipment
- Tourniquet holders
- Small tools
- Other MOLLE/PALS-compatible accessories
Identification Panel
A trapezoid-shaped hook-and-loop panel is positioned on the lid for identification.
Approximate dimensions:
Upper Width: 5.9 in / 15 cm
Lower Width: 3.7 in / 9.5 cm
Height: 1.6 in / 4 cm
It can accommodate:
- ID patches
- IR patches
- Name tapes
- Unit markings
- Other hook-backed identifiers
Drainage & Reinforced Construction
A drainage eyelet in the bottom allows water and accumulated moisture to escape from the carrier.
The edges are reinforced with binding tape to improve durability around high-wear areas.
IRR / NIR-Oriented Construction
The carrier is manufactured from rugged Cordura® Polyamide 6.6 with Polyamide 6.6 webbing.
Its IRR/NIR-oriented construction makes it suitable for professional tactical and military equipment setups.

Mission Frontline Take
A hydration carrier is one of the cleaner ways to integrate water into a plate-carrier setup because it keeps the load close to the back and eliminates the need for a separate hydration backpack.
The 2-liter size is also a good middle ground. It provides a useful amount of water without creating the bulk of a larger 3-liter system.
We particularly like the additional MOLLE on the front and sides. It means the space on the back of the carrier is not completely sacrificed to hydration and can still support smaller mission-specific accessories.
For users building a German-made plate-carrier or tactical vest setup with integrated hydration, this is a straightforward and well-designed option.
