Lightweight MOLLE/PALS rifle magazine pouch for compact 10-round magazines with removable clip retention and a fully detachable protective flap.
The Zentauron 10-Round Rifle Magazine Pouch is designed specifically for compact 10-round rifle magazines and combines secure retention with a highly configurable access system.
A removable U-shaped polymer clip stabilizes the magazine inside the pouch, while a separate hook-and-loop flap provides additional retention and environmental protection.
Both components can be configured independently, allowing the pouch to be adapted from a fully secured setup to a much more open, fast-access configuration.
Made in Germany.
Removable Internal Retention Clip
A U-shaped polymer clip sits inside the pouch and is secured using hook-and-loop.
Its purpose is to stabilize the shorter magazine and maintain a consistent position inside the pouch.
The clip can be:
- Repositioned as required
- Used together with the flap
- Used without the flap
- Completely removed
This gives the user more control over magazine fit and retention than a fixed internal insert.
Fully Removable Flap
The protective flap uses hook-and-loop closure and can be completely removed from the pouch.
This provides multiple configuration options:
Flap Closed
Maximum retention and additional protection.
Flap Loosened / Open
Quicker access while retaining the flap on the pouch.
Flap Removed
Open-top configuration for the fastest direct access.
The internal clip can continue to stabilize the magazine even when the flap is removed.
Designed for Compact 10-Round Magazines
The pouch is specifically intended for short 10-round rifle magazines.
Compatible formats include:
- Remington 10-round rifle magazines
- Comparable compact 10-round magazines
- Other similarly sized rifle-magazine formats
The shorter design prevents compact magazines from sitting unnecessarily deep inside a conventional full-height magazine pouch.
MOLLE / PALS Mounting
The rear interface allows the pouch to attach to compatible:
- Plate carriers
- Tactical vests
- Duty belts
- War belts / battle belts
- MOLLE-equipped backpacks
- Other MOLLE/PALS platforms
Its compact dimensions and low weight make it easy to integrate into crowded equipment setups.
Cordura® 500D Construction
The pouch is manufactured from durable 500D Cordura®, providing a good balance between abrasion resistance, weight, and flexibility.
The material is water-repellent but should not be considered waterproof.
Drainage Eyelet
An integrated drainage eyelet at the bottom allows accumulated water and moisture to escape from the pouch.
This helps prevent standing water after rain, wet-weather use, or cleaning.
Lightweight Design
At only approximately:
2.4 oz / 68 g
the pouch adds very little weight to the carrier and is well suited to extended wear during duty, training, or range use.

Mission Frontline Take
This updated version is more interesting than a conventional short magazine pouch because both retention systems are independently removable.
The internal clip solves the main problem with 10-round magazines: they are often too short for standard rifle pouches and can disappear too deeply inside them.
At the same time, the removable flap lets you decide how much security you actually need.
Clip + Flap → maximum retention
Clip only → cleaner and faster access
Neither → minimalist open pouch
At only 68 grams, the system remains extremely light, and the drainage eyelet is a small but useful field detail.
For users running compact 10-round magazines who want more control over retention than a conventional fixed pouch offers, this is a very well thought-out German-made solution.
