The AB ECW Level 7 Insulated Pants are designed for professional users who require dependable warmth, weather protection, and unrestricted functionality in severe cold-weather environments.

Built for military, law enforcement, duty, security, outdoor operations, and cold-weather training, they combine high-loft insulation with a durable weather-resistant construction and reinforced high-wear areas.

At the core of the pants is PrimaLoft® Silver HiLoft Ultra™ insulation, delivering excellent warmth-to-weight performance while retaining insulating capability even in damp conditions.

A 10,000 mm waterproof rating, fully taped seams, and an 8,000 g/m²/24h breathability rating provide protection against wind and precipitation while helping manage moisture during extended wear.

Abrasion-resistant reinforcement at the knees, seat, and lower legs increases durability in high-wear areas, while articulated knees, an adjustable waistband, and multiple adjustment points provide mobility and comfort during active use.

Side zippers extending to the knees make the pants easier to put on and remove over footwear, while integrated boot hooks and adjustable cuffs help keep the lower legs securely positioned.

Mission Frontline Take

The ECW Level 7 Pants are the lower-body counterpart to a serious cold-weather insulation system.

What makes them interesting to us is that AB hasn't simply taken a heavily insulated pair of pants and stopped there. Reinforced knees and seat, articulated construction, ventilation, boot hooks, and side zippers make them much more practical when they actually have to be used with boots and other equipment.

Combined with the AB ECW Level 7 Jacket, they create a complete high-loft insulation setup for extended exposure to low temperatures.

For static duty, cold-weather training, winter camps, vehicle crews, observation roles, or extended time outdoors, the additional insulation around the legs can make a major difference compared with relying on upper-body insulation alone.

Keep in mind: this is a heavily insulated cold-weather layer. For high-output movement in milder temperatures, it can simply be more insulation than you need.
