Compared with a full rain shell, the softshell construction feels more comfortable, quieter, and more natural during everyday movement.

That's what makes it particularly useful for range days, field work, hiking, vehicle use, travel, and everyday duty when you expect changing weather but don't necessarily need a dedicated hard shell.

We also like the pocket layout.
